Why we're here
Our Story
Live Sent Global was birthed as a Global mission movement through the local church. In 1956, Cole Community Church (Boise, ID) church sent out its first missionary, Esther Benedict (Brambila). In the early 80’s the church's global reach included financially supporting 40 missionaries. As those relationships grew, so did a conviction: sending workers meant sharing in their calling, preparation, care, and ministry.
The church developed its Field Staff program to train and send global workers as an integrated part of the church’s life. The program grew to include 12 families serving around the world and eventually developed into an in-house mission agency that became a model for future mission agencies.
Our origin story is why LS Global's mission is captured in the statement:
"The Church. On Mission. At Home & Around the world."
Our history continues to shape Live Sent Global. We serve the relationships between sending churches, global workers, and churches around the world—helping them share resources, learn from one another, and advance the gospel together. Our vision reaches toward the day when people from every tribe, language, and nation worship Jesus.
What we do
Our work
Live Sent Global helps local churches take an active part in God’s global mission. We equip and care for missionaries, provide practical sending support, and connect churches and individuals with trusted workers and ministries around the world. Through lasting relationships marked by prayer, generosity, and mutual learning, we partner to make Jesus known among the nations, strengthen local churches, care for people in need and equip believers to live into their identity as "sent ones" who live out the Great Commission.
Our Team
Our leadership brings firsthand experience in planting churches, serving across cultures, and caring for global workers. Having served in both sending and receiving contexts, we understand the relationships that sustain gospel ministry—and the importance of listening, learning & working together.
Kirk Crager
Kirk has served as a cross-cultural church planter and pastor in multiple contexts around the world. He and his wife, Mindy, raised four children born overseas and walking with them as TCK's and in their U.S. re-entry. He knows the joys and challenges of life on mission as a family. He leads LSG’s vision and coaches missionaries. He works with sending churches to help them embrace their sent identity and build lasting partnerships with the global church.
Jeff Fadness
Jeff and his wife, Christina, spent 13 years planting churches and training leaders in Vladimir, Russia, where those churches continue under Russian leadership. After pastoring in Idaho, they returned overseas with “Strengthening the Hands,” a ministry encouraging weary pastors and missionaries. Trained in missionary debriefing, they bring decades of sending, serving, and pastoral care to LSG’s member care ministry.
Allan Matamoros
Allan has dedicated his life to following and serving Jesus in world missions. He served with FEDEMEC, the pioneering sending missionary agency from Costa Rica to the Unreached. He serves through COMIBAM, working to transform Latin America from a mission field to a mission force. Allan and his wife Patricia have devoted their lives to evangelizing the Muslim World.
